Kelly Henderson
Clinical Audiologist
Hi, I’m Kelly!
I got into audiology after experiencing my own hearing difficulties, which showed me first hand just how frustrating and isolating a hearing loss can be when your ears aren't playing ball. That personal experience inspired me to head to the University of Manchester to study Audiology and I’ve been working as an audiologist for 16 years now. I absolutely love what I do - though I do rely heavily on a strong cup of Yorkshire tea (with just a splash of milk) to keep my energy up between appointments!
“I’ve been practicing yoga for over twenty-five years now and it’s my absolute go-to for staying grounded and unwinding after a busy day.”
When it comes to ear wax removal, I know people can sometimes feel a bit nervous or apprehensive about having it done. That’s why my main priority in clinic is simply making sure you feel completely at ease, comfortable and never rushed. We’ll sit down, have a proper, relaxed chat about what’s going on and go through the whole process step-by-step so you always know exactly what to expect. There are no silly questions in my clinic and I take all the time needed to ensure you leave feeling relieved, clear and well cared for.
When I’m not in clinic, you’ll almost always find me on a yoga mat. I’ve been practicing yoga for over twenty-five years now and it’s my absolute go-to for staying grounded and unwinding after a busy day. Otherwise, I’m usually out for long walks in the fresh air, or standing wrapped up on a muddy touchline somewhere every weekend, proudly cheering on my two sons at their rugby matches!
